By signing a Dance Trix registration form (either on paper, online or via our app) and paying fees you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions:
Children’s Classes
a) You have completed a registration form with the most up to date information about your child and all necessary details required by Dance Trix teachers in an emergency.
b) The information you have entered on this form is valid for the duration of your child’s time as a student at Dance Trix and it is your responsibility to inform Dance Trix in writing (email or by submitting a new form) of any changes.
c) For Tiny Trixies classes only– parents understand that the child is the responsibility of the parent or the child’s guardian during the Tiny Trixies sessions. These sessions are child-led and therefore parents or guardians can attend to the child with whatever they need at any point.
d) You understand that Dance Trix do not accept any responsibility for injury sustained during classes or at Dance Trix events either held at the studio or elsewhere.
e) You acknowledge that from time to time it may be necessary for teachers to make light physical contact with students to gently correct technique and assist in class where necessary to ensure safety.
f) You understand that Dance Trix is a dance school run by Katie Rix and Leanne Curry who are both Licentiate qualified with the Professional Teachers of Dancing. Classes are sometimes run by our student teachers as well, also qualified to Student Teacher level with the Professional Teachers of Dancing.
g) You agree that Dance Trix reserve the right to ask students to cease attending classes should their behaviour or the behaviour of their parent/guardian be deemed disruptive, abusive, offensive or inappropriate.
h) You agree to all terms and conditions in the registration form and have read our data protection and privacy policy found at www.dancetrix.co.uk/about/dp-policy
i) By signing the registration form, you have opted in to receiving essential communication from Dance Trix about our classes via email or message as you have expressed that you have a legitimate interest in this. You can opt out at any time by declaring to us in writing to dancetrix@yahoo.co.uk that your child is no longer a Dance Trix student.
j) You understand that after the initial 3-week trial period that fees will be due in 7-weekly instalments. You understand that details on term fees and dates can always be found either on the relevant webpage, via WhatsApp or Facebook. Late fees do apply to late payments unless an alternative arrangement has been made and agreed with the principals. There is no reimbursement for missed classes and unfortunately, once paid, all term fees are non-refundable.

k) As a dance school we do expect students to be attending on a regular basis in order to participate in our exam sessions and shows. We reserve the right to withdraw students from these events if their attendance is not satisfactory as this impacts not just on them, but also on the rest of the group. This may result in the loss of paid fees and inhibit the possibility of the students progressing with the rest of their group.
l) In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, we may have to make adjustments to our classes in light of any future lockdown situations. We sincerely hope that this isn’t necessary and would like to assure you that we will always do all we can to run classes in person where it is legal and safe to do so. If this is not possible, our classes will be run via Zoom. Please note that as a small business, this time was very challenging so unfortunately we cannot offer refunds on term fees for this period of online classes- if you have very specific reasons for not being able to access online classes, please get in touch so we can discuss.
